Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, Bruce accompanied his parents in Casper (in the state of Wyoming) which is where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's the district for soil conservation.
