Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back while one crawled inside the playpen. I stayed up all night days for months sanding and taking wallpaper off, all with one child. Ha! Everything was starting to fall into place, however we were nowhere near done. To furnish the home, it was going to be an enormous undertaking in terms of both time and funds. I would also have to do my favourite shopping. To keep the budget in check, I began going to estate sales with three brothers to search for diamonds in the rough. We used to go on a weekly basis to walk around auctions and garage sales on Sundays and Saturdays and purchase a range of pieces old and newly constructed. I'd spend my workdays at the end of the driveway, either painting or sanding. My passion for restoration of furniture started with an appearance like this. It didn't matter if the house was already decorated. There was an area on the market where I sold things. It was possible to expand the area because I had plenty of pieces that I was able to use. The number of people who visited my house in one weekend to purchase everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was founded in my house. Growing Days was more than an incredibly successful business, but it was also a loving family. As a mom of a child, I found the right way to be able to begin my own business and also being a decent mother. Growing Days was the obvious decision. Nora came into our lives in 2013 and became our fourth baby. I adored where my business was going, but I wanted to take a breather. I decided to take a break from creating vintage furniture and also slowed my pace and stayed at home to take care of the kids. At the time, it was what I wanted. But after a couple of months without a phone, it began to ring. They asked for my help in interior decoration and renovations. It was mostly those who visited my house for furniture. I began to take on customers one by one going at my own pace but it didn't take time before I was running multiple accounts and was running an entire home improvement business. I'm sure you would have made me laugh if you told me this was going to be the subject of the DIY Network tv series. In the present, as I reflect on the situation, I find myself laughing.
