Molly Tarlov is an American actress who is famous for her part as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television show Awkward from 2011. Tarlov was one of two daughters who was born and raised by her grandparents in Manhattan. At the age of 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The 7th graders who attended the show were awestruck. She studied in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch as well as spent the summers of her teen years studying Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and trained in many different types of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company also taught her, in acting and helped her incorporate writing into her performances in her LAByrinth Theater Masters Class. Molly gave away her winter coat and bought a pair black sunglasses on her trip to Los Angeles. The three words in iCarly quickly caught the eye of her parents. Since then, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. She also created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly loves to pretend that she is good at basketball, even though she's far from it. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
