Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan-born actress who was raised in Fes. The actress traveled all over the world before arriving to Los Angeles. Pernas first had an interest in reporting. However, her world transformed when she was introduced to an agent for modeling and later an agency for actors that started her career. The unique style she has is due to a Moroccan mother and a Galician father. Sofia Pernas, born 1989 in Los Angeles, is a Moroccan and Spanish actor. She appears in The Brave. At the age of five her family moved to America and grew in Orange County. Both her mother and father have multilingual backgrounds. Her Moroccan-born mother hails from Morocco while her Spanish-born father is from Spain. She can speak Arabic, English and Spanish as well as German. Once she was recognized, her career was changed from journalist to modeling and acting. The actress starred as Marisa on The Young and the Restless as well as in the CW telenovela Jane the Virgin, with Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni. In NBC's The Brave, she plays Hannah Rivera, a Defense Intelligence Agency member.
